Shari was born into a 3rd generation farming family in Saskatchewan. The family moved to Alberta to expand the family farm when she was 7. Shari broke the family tradition of farming and went into accounting after helping her dad with his income taxes as a child. This inspired her to pursue her career to help other families navigate taxes less stressfully.
Shari has been in public practice since 1990 and received her CGA designation in 2002.
After completing multiple terms as Treasurer of Didsbury Agricultural Society, Shari continues to volunteer at the annual rodeo and other events as well as providing administrative support.
When not at work, Shari enjoys spending time with her loving husband, Mike, their grumpy cat, Bob, their extended family, and friends.
